If you have or know someone with a Dogo who needs a home please let me know.
Myself, Fiance & 2month old son would like to have a family dog.
Any age, or size
Please no aggressive dogs as I have a 2 month old son.

I am of the opinion that a dogo or any other mastiff/molosser is not for the newbie.
Dogos are very strong and most rescues have behavior issues.
Many rescues wont go to homes with small children.

I do agree with Elysium, however you are lucky enough to be close to me geographically, so if you are interested in meeting a dogo in person, call us at 631-255-2738. We are Dog Trainers also, so if you do find any other dog of any breed, you can contact us, as there are certain things that should be done when introducing a dog to a baby.

Have had children & lg breed dogs (boxers, dobermans & pitbulls)for over 23 yrs. & I agree that a dogo or any other lrg breed dog is DEFINITLEY NOT for the beginner!!!

I have a female dogo, BELLE, that I am looking for a good home for. She was 2 in December & weighs about 100 pounds. Her parents were imported from Argentina & were shown. She is a sweetheart, loves kids, loves people. Probably the smartest dog I have ever had. Things in my life have just not turned out as planned when I got her & I have to give her up. I am having to keep her tied & that's not fair. I work nights & she comes in & lays down on her bed while I sleep & stays in with my 13yo dauschund while I'm at work. She WILL NOT go to the bathroom in the house (maybe 3X since potty trained, 2X because she was sick & 1X because I had car trouble & was about 4 hrs late) she loves to play with other dogs, but will be aggressive toward them if they are first agressive toward her or if she thinks they are thteatening her people. That's really the only fault I can say she has. If you are still looking or want to know more please call me,Elaine,at 8068325865.
