I believe you may be in for quit a ride as well, few things that raise en eyebrow;
FIRST is the age in which you have recieved your pup ---WAY TO YOUNG--- he should have spent at least 2 to 3 more weeks with his mother and littermates learning manners, NO ONE can teach a puppy better then his mom and littermates, the mom can set a solid foundation.

No I wouldn't tape them UNLESS they flip the opposite way.
