My dogo 5 months old and i had her for about 1 month already.. At the same time i got rottweiler 4 yrs old at my house.. they 2 get along just well.. both are active.. so my questions are:
1. My dogo always follow my rottweiler like for example my dogo wouldnt want to out without my rottweiler.. and my dogo will only eat when rottweiler eat too.. when my rott stands or come to me, then my dogo will follow too... so my question is does this mean my dogo dont take me as her master?
2. How can i avoid this problem? Pls help
Thanks v much in advance

I agree with Tylero. It sounds like your dogo sees the rotty as the leader. I recomend keeping them seperate for longer periods. A puppy this age needs to be developing coping skills and will do it alot better if he is guided by you. Try doing a lot of hand feeding and training. Take him to dog-friendly places such as sportsmans warehouse and home depot. Remember your poo bag and bring some folded up paper towels in your pocket, that way an accident is not the end of the world. Make your relationship with him his most highly valued. Keep us posted on your progress.

By "house" do you mean crate?
I don't worry about dog jealousy but I might be concerned that the dogo is not getting enough exercise.

I am going to go against the grain here and just say that it is good that your dogo is acting as a subordanate to your Rottie, since it seems as if they are both females, and if you allow the Dogo to stay submissive to the Rot you should have less issues with them once the Dogo matures. If you do separate training, you may have the Dogo feeling like it is higher up than the other dog because of the individual attention. I always tell people that dogs are the best dog trainers. It can make your job easier. Which ever methods you use, we would love to see pictures of you pups.

Also, where did you get the dog from? A kennel pup that has not been around people, will gravitate to dogs quicker, and will take a bit longer to bond with you.

Putting her on concrete or wood will keep her clean wood is probably better. I keep my dogs on concrete. They don't get parasites as bad if you keep them off the ground
