Hello all! This is my first post to this forum. Apollo -- 2 year old fixed Rottweiler Vetis -- 10 month old in tact Dogo
Anyway, I got my first Dogo back in December from Argentum Dogos. He just turned 10 months old yesterday.
Anyway, just to describe the home situation, I do have 1 other dog--a very calm and passive 2 year old Rottweiler (fixed). My Dogo is still in tact (I want to stud him out).
Starting about 1.5-2 months ago, Vetis started trying to be Apollo's alpha. This is natural, I understand that. I have seen how Vetis treats Apollo... Apollo does everything in his power to avoid any fight, but if Vetis keeps pushing him, he has no choice. The outcomes of these fights are obvious... if you look at Vetis, he has scratches and marks all over his neck and shoulders, quite obviously from a dog. None of these are need any medical attention, considering they're all relatively minor. He is an absolute sweetheart to people, but I have even experienced Vetis trying to "guard" or "claim" my female roommate and get's pissed if she and Apollo get too close (this is sporadic).
In general, he's very sweet around people and plays great with other dogs. It's just an alpha struggle. I'm not sure if anyone else here has any experience with that?

If your Rottie won't ignore EVERY push from the Dogo, he will die a young death. A good responsible breeder, would have told you this before they took your money. Most likely you will have to keep them separate.
What about him make you want to stud him out? Can you post pictures and pedigree information?
