Hi all.
First off, I don't have a Dogo but I love reading about their hunting exploits and seeing pictures of them (and any strong running mastiff for that matter). I'm trying to read as much as possible about the history and development of the breed and was wondering if anybody can point me in the direction of some good sites in either Spanish or English.
Anyway, good to be here and I look forward to finding out more about the Dogo.

That is a downloadable PDF file for El Dogo Argentino. And as long as you aren't posting info somewhere else, you are welcome to copy and paste into a word file, anything on the site.

Again, thank you very much for this info, very insightful for me.
I've just been looking through Amazon and was wondering what you guys think of the books available on the Dogo? The Victor Valino book was one that caught my eye: Origen, EvoluciĆ³n y Futuro. Worth buying? Does it add anything valuable to the Nores Martinez book, for instance?

I have them all, but I am a dogo freak I guess. I don't read fluently so it is a process to get through the books, but I feel like they are worthwhile investments for any serious doguero. If you are just looking for information to purchase a puppy, they might not be necessary, but if you read spanish then go for it.

Thanks for the info. I've ordered the Valino book. I must say how much I enjoyed your website, that was exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of questions about the development of the breed and will ask them here when I get time. Thanks a lot.
